About
The Muncie region of Flaherty & Collins Properties all began with Millennium Place Homes, when it broke ground in 2004. It has since provided an upscale blend of residential homes, that include Low Income Household Tax Credit (LIHTC) and Public Housing homes. The community was behind the HOPE XI grant that helped catapult this project into what it has become today. A 15-city block, 160-unit, new urbanism neighborhood. This community tore down over 220 public housing units and replaced with single family homes, duplexes and quad-style homes.
The Millennium Place development company Flaherty & Collins Properties spared no expense, down to the 25-foot-wide splash pad. All the interior features and amenities make this property one of a kind in the area. The two play grounds, 2 football size grass play areas and splash pad make it a center piece of the downtown area. Partnering with the Muncie Housing Authority, we offer many programs free of charge which include Senior work out programs, basic compute retraining, financial education, homeownership classes and credit counseling.
In addition to the Millennium Place neighborhoods, Flaherty & Collins developed four additional properties: Centennial Place, Jackson & Vine, Historic Muncie and Howard Square, all offering LIHTC Affordable Housing options to the Muncie area. Together, these communities offer many different floor plans, including studio, one, two, three and four-bedroom homes, property boasting its own special traits and characteristics.
